Brewer and Salford -based ad retreatment Hyde underlined his commitment to develop future talents with the launch of a new completion bonus for apprentices.
Apprentices who finish level 2 learning will receive £ 250, while those who have finished level 3 will be assigned £ 500 in recognition of their success.
Hydes has been offering learning since 2017 and nearly 50 people have completed programs during this period. The program continues to grow, with seven apprentices who are currently learning, two others awaiting start -up and a pair has already succeeded this year. Among them, Connor Fraser, a chief of the Harry Beswick in Heswall, who completed his training thanks to an initiative for learning the guard in partnership with HMP Risley. Hydes has brought withdrawal funds to make the project possible.
The majority of opportunities are in hospitality and catering, such as the first level 2, the level of supervisor 3, the production manager of production 2 and the senior level 3 production manager. However, learning is now extending beyond the pub field. In the brasserie and the head office, three employees, Chris Riley, Gareth Jones and Craig Ogden, are currently working at the brewing 4, according to the path taken by the brewing manager Tom Rostron, himself a former apprentice. The company also welcomed a second health and safety apprentice, Abby Morgan, who is studying for a level 3 security, health and environment technician.
Laura Miller, director of training at Hydes, said: “Learning is a fantastic way to bring new people into the company and help them develop real skills. At the same time, they allow us to create a very motivated and qualified workforce. We are extremely proud of what our apprentices have achieved so far and want to encourage more people to see the hospital and break as career rewarded with clear opportunities to progress.
“As a rule, our programs last between 12 and 24 months, with the learning carried out at work. Each apprentice is supported by a personal tutor who checks them every six to eight weeks, providing regular advice and comments. Each program ends with a final point assessment, which is a structured process of different practical skills and academic learning assessments. »»
Hydes does not lack the success of apprentices. Brandon Hodkinson began as an apprentice and is now a senior side of the coach and four in Wilmslow, while Ryan Littleler, formerly an apprentice himself, is now deputy director of the Golden Lion in Wrexham. Former apprentice Tom Allkins also finished the Brewing Level 4 program and is now part of the Brasserie team, continuing a family tradition because his grandfather and uncle were brewers with Hydes.
