Hydes has been offering learning since 2017 and nearly 50 people have completed programs during this period. “As a rule, our programs last between 12 and 24 months, with the learning carried out at work. Each apprentice is supported by a personal tutor who checks them every six to eight weeks, providing regular advice and comments. Each program ends with a final point assessment, which is a structured process of different practical skills and academic learning assessments. »»

Brandon Hodkinson began as an apprentice and is now a senior side of the coach and four in Wilmslow, while Ryan Littleler, formerly an apprentice himself, is now deputy director of the Golden Lion in Wrexham. Former apprentice Tom Allkins also finished the Brewing Level 4 program and is now part of the Brasserie team, continuing a family tradition because his grandfather and uncle were brewers with Hydes.
