Cambria University Center celebrated the achievements of higher education learners during a sparkling diploma ceremony.
The Glanrafon conference center of the college of Coleg Cambria Yale in Wrexham organized the event, assisted by 33 students who had produced higher national and professional qualifications.
They were joined by teachers, friends and family, and welcomed by Emma Hurst, dean of higher education and access to higher education, alongside the head of the PGCE program, Gary Wyn Jones, and the main Sue Price.
“It is my great pleasure to welcome you all here this afternoon at our Cambria University Center celebration event,” said Ms. Price.
“Congratulations to everyone for your success, and a big thank you to the family and friends who supported you during your trip.
“This is the ideal way to help you celebrate your achievements, I hope you will have a wonderful moment.”
Ms. Hurst added: “Today must be a very proud day, and we share this pride with you all.
“We would like to thank all our staff who supported our learners along the way and our governors too.”
Among the courses and programs represented were the management of animals; Diploma in people management; Diploma in management and leadership; Diploma in leadership and management principles, and the diploma in professional accounting.
The ceremony was followed by drinks and sofas at the Iâl restaurant, and a photobooth proved to be very popular with visitors wishing to capture memories of the day.
Earlier this year, the University Center announced a new higher technical skills strategy aimed at improving access and participation, encouraging development and innovation of study programs, and forging partnerships within several sectors to fill gaps in expertise and experience.
The new subjects will start from September – in collaboration with Pearson Learning Group – in addition to modular and unified packages and mixed delivery,
They will also promote digital 2030, digital skills, trust and innovation in teaching and learning; Equip learners as a “future workforce” capable of using rapidly evolving technologies towards their full potential, including artificial intelligence (AI).
“Our vision is to remove obstacles to education and help increase demand areas while targeting key political areas, including Net Zero and Welsh language – this strategy is a basis that Emma said.
