The new academic year will bring a new opportunity to study for a flexible qualification for Coleg Cambria.
The College – based in Wrexham, Northop, Deeside and Llysfasi – unveiled a series of part -time accessible courses to start in September.
Among the subjects are Makaton Workshop, dog grooming assistants, leadership and management, GCSE biology, spraying of foundations and introduction to ceramics.
Those who seek to take a course focused on personal and professional development can also apply to study mathematics and English, education and training and management of animals.
The main Sue Price said: “Our wide range of part -time courses highlights the solid relationships that we have established with public and private employers.
“At Coleg Cambria, we work closely with industry partners to design academic programs that are not only relevant but also practical, ensuring that learners can increase career progression or obtain the qualifications they need to explore new job opportunities.”
Ms. Price added: “We also offer a wide variety of adult and community learning courses, as well as skills for adult programs, delivered both to our northeast sites in Wales and within local communities.
“For many of them, funding is available via a personal learning account, which makes learning more accessible and affordable.
“Whether you are looking to make the next step in your professional career with a recognized qualification, or you just want to try something new – perhaps a creative hobby or personal interest – we are here to support you. Whatever your goals, we are committed to helping you achieve them.”
The accredited organizations working in partnership with the college include Nebosh, Iosh, the Welsh government, the city and the GUILDES, LANTRA, CIPD, Prince2 and Learn Welsh.
