West End Quay Development exclusivity cleaners and cleaners in Paddington should start an 11 -day strike on Friday, September 19, their third raising in two years in a bitter dispute on remuneration, conditions and systemic intimidation.
Striking staff – members of the United Voices of the World (UVW) union – will be released every day until September 29. The action will seriously disrupt the services for residents of the plush complex, where apartments sell millions.
The workers – who are massively migrants and black and brown – and also fight against “intimidation bosses”, surveillance and attempted taxation system related to performance.
Also on the list of requests is an increase in salary according to inflation, equality of remuneration in sickness and the right of vacation for all the staff, a remunerated compassion for one week and an annual premium of two weeks.
This strike marks a climbing in a dispute that started a year ago and saw workers:

United Voices of the World (UVW) is a basic trade union founded in 2014. It represents the little -paid, unsafe and predominantly workers of migrant workers – including cleaners, concierges, letters, cars, hotel workers and others – in sectors often overlighted by traditional unions.
Stocking dates: The complete striking period takes place from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and from 12 p.m. to 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. between Friday September 19 and Monday September 29, 2025.
This dispute follows two previous strikes by the same workforce in June 2024 and June 2023, which previously won a salary increase and recognition of their union.
