Government’s announcement on thousands of sick and disabled people to get life-changing support into work

After the government's announcement last week (Thursday 4 Sept) Thousands of sick and disabled people must work life at work,, Katharine Moxham, spokesperson for group risk development (GRID) said:

“While we congratulate the government's commitment to help more sick and disabled people get back to work, we suggest that sounding the flow of sick and disabled people outside the workplace is just as important.

“The professional rehabilitation model delivered by group income protection insurance is structured both to prevent absences from long -term illness and to facilitate the return of employees to work as a result of health -related absences. This approach offers personalized and personalized cases management, taking advantage of clinical and professional expertise to collaborate with employers and employees, the aim being to implement appropriate work adjustments and provide continuous support throughout the reintegration process.

“Strong recognition of the role that prevention, early intervention and rapid rehabilitation at the workplace should play to help employees stay or return to work will still strengthen the plan of government to make Great Britain work again.”
