The United Kingdom and the EU work together with the aim of “resetting” the relations between the two economies by accepting a plan to open the way for those under 30 to work on the continent.
The so-called experience program for young people is a cross-border arrangement that would allow young people to live and work freely in Europe.
The current trade agreement between the United Kingdom and the EU only authorizes stays without a visa of up to 90 days for certain activities over a period of six months.
Although the details are in negotiation and the eligibility would be “capped and limited in time”, the British government affirms that young workers in sectors such as professional services and hospitality could benefit from it.
